The Clubhouse - Life Update
I think a general life update is due… In 2 days I will officially become a first time homeowner. In 3 days tornado Maxine arrives to whip me into shape and get me ready to move into my new home. In 6 days the consultations, installations, and deliveries start at “the clubhouse” In 7 days, the moving truck arrives and I will officially be out of the hellhole that is my current apartment. In 12 days I will hopefully get my first night of relaxation and a full night’s rest. Little by little I have been purging my life of all the excess stuff that I own in preparation for this move. I am selling all of my furniture, including the most comfortable bed I have ever owned. Anything that is not sold by next Sunday evening will be donated to charity. Anyone who knows me well knows that I have more clothing and crap than any human should ever have. By going through my room section by section, I have compiled enough clothing for donation to clothe an entire small village of many different sized girls and woman. It still doesn’t look like I have made a dent in my closet, but the donation bags keep multiplying. It feels amazing to let go of all the stuff I don’t need and all the items that no longer fit because they are too big (losing weight is a blessing and a curse).
